Urgent Care San Antonio FAQs

What conditions can you treat at San Antonio locations?

We treat non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries at our San Antonio urgent care locations. We also offer pre-employment, DOT, and sports physicals. If you have a life-threatening health issue, such as chest pains or a severe wound, or require urgent care outside of our operating hours, call 911 or go to the closest hospital emergency room.

Can I walk in, or do I need an appointment?

We welcome walk-in patients at all of our locations. You can also download our app to schedule same-day visits and check in for your appointment before you arrive.

Is pediatric care available at all San Antonio clinics?

Yes! We can treat patients of all ages, including infants, children, and teens.

Is urgent care cheaper than the ER?

Urgent care is much cheaper than visiting the ER. You will be charged lower insurance co-pays, and treatment costs can be up to 10 times less at the ER.

What is considered urgent but not an emergency?

Illnesses and injuries that require prompt care but are not life-threatening are considered urgent but not emergency. This can include injuries such as sprains, muscle strains, and cuts needing stitches. Urgent illnesses include sinus infections, sore throats, gastrointestinal (GI) conditions, and respiratory illnesses.
