Urgent Care Houston FAQs

How much does urgent care cost in Houston?

If you have health insurance, you will be charged the urgent care co-pay determined by your plan. If you do not have health insurance or have a high-deductible plan, your costs will depend on the services you need.

Is urgent care cheaper than the ER?

Next Level Urgent Care typically provides care at a fraction of the cost of an emergency room for the same service. Additionally, urgent care visits often come with low self-pay rates and insurance co-pays, so your out-of-pocket costs are reduced.

Is it cheaper to go to urgent care or a primary care doctor?

Your costs will depend on your insurance plan. Some insurance plans require higher co-pays for urgent care visits than for office visits with your primary care doctor. If you do not have insurance or have a high-deductible plan, you are eligible for our discounted self-pay pricing, which may be less expensive than visiting a doctor’s office.

Can you go to urgent care for everything?

Urgent care is the place to go for illnesses and injuries that are not limb- or life-threatening, such as cuts that require stitches, simple fractures, sprains, and muscle strains. Illnesses that can be treated at urgent care include sore throats, sinus infections, stomach illnesses, and respiratory conditions.

Can I check wait times or get in line online?

You can “get in line” virtually by using our app. The app will provide you with an approximate wait time, so you can plan your arrival accordingly.

What conditions do you treat at Houston locations?

Next Level’s Houston Urgent Care locations can treat a wide range of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. We also offer services including pre-employment, DOT, and sports physicals. If you have a life-threatening health issue, such as chest pains or a severe wound, or require urgent care outside of our operating hours, call 911 or go to the closest hospital emergency room.

Are all clinics open on weekends?

Yes! Our facilities are all open 7 days a week, from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
