SAN ANTONIO, TX (February 6th, 2023) – A former vacant, once bustling mid-century medical building in the heart of Alamo Heights has re-opened as Next Level Urgent Care, one of two new centers the company has opened inside Loop 410.
Located at 7407 Broadway Street, the well-known Alamo Heights building first opened in 1960 and quickly became a go-to location for medical care in the neighborhood. Over the years, its timeless style became synonymous with the area. Next Level maintained several aspects of the building’s features, from its original brick-tile floor to its iconic red door handle accented with a caduceus and small ceramic tiles.
“We love the character and charm of the building, it just fits in with the community. We have patients today who remember coming here as a child to see their pediatrician. Even though they were coming to see a physician at the time, they still have very fond memories of this building.”
Amy Platt, Next Level Community Outreach Coordinator
Next Level’s other new inner Loop 410 center is located at 223 E Hildebrand Avenue minutes from the heart of Olmos Park. The new center also is less than a mile from Trinity University and minutes from University of the Incarnate Word. Both offer care for non life-threatening illnesses and injuries seven days a week with the convenience of extended hours, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
All seven San Antonio Next Level Urgent Care centers are staffed by licensed physicians, experienced physician assistants, nurse practitioners and others trained in emergency medicine, primary care, pediatrics, internal medicine and sports medicine.
