Virtual Visits

February is called “the month of love” but many people have taken that to mean “the month of loving others.”  The problem with this interpretation is that it causes us to forget about the most important kind of love: self-love.  And while, we’re in full support of spreading the love, you cannot effectively love another person until you love yourself. 

So, we’re proposing a self-love challenge this month.  You can follow our ideas below or make up your own!  Whichever way you go about the challenge, we hope you have a February filled with positivity and love for yourself and others!

  1. Buy yourself flowers
  2. Go sugar-free for the day
  3. Write down 5 affirmations on sticky notes and place them in spots you will see them (such as your bathroom mirror).
  4. Take a bubble bath
  5. Meditate for 5 minutes
  6. Do a random act of kindness
  7. Get off social media for a day
  8. Get brunch with a friend
  9. Catch up on your favorite show
  10. Clean a room in your house
  11. Try a new recipe
  12. Make a happy music playlist
  13. Write out a list of your accomplishments
  14. Drink 8 glasses of water
  15. Donate items you don’t use
  16. Go on an adventure
  17. Go to sleep 30 minutes early
  18. Wear your favorite outfit
  19. Apply a facemask
  20. Enjoy your favorite treat
  21. Take a walk outside
  22. Try a new workout class
  23. Make a vision board
  24. Buy a plant and keep it alive
  25. Foam roll or stretch
  26. Write yourself 10 compliments
  27. Don’t eat lunch at your desk
  28. Visit a bookstore and purchase an inspiring book
  29. Repeat this affirmation: “I am perfect just the way I am.”
